The consequences of Brexit are still uncertain and there is still a possibility that the UK could leave the European Union without a deal on 31st October 2019.
Curve customers in both the UK and EEA have rightly voiced their concerns on how their accounts will be affected by Brexit. We want to reassure all customers that we have been preparing for any uncertainty caused by Brexit with the utmost care and due diligence.
I’m A UK Curve Customer – How Will Brexit Affect My Account?
- Our UK customers will experience no disruption to their domestic service and will continue to be able to use their Curve card within EU countries after Brexit, because MasterCard is accepted internationally. In addition, UK customers will still be able to add EEA issued cards to their Curve account.
I’m A European Curve Customer – How Will Brexit Affect My Account?
- Our card issuer, under which we are licensed, is based in both the UK & within the EU. This means that our customers in Europe will continue to receive the same service as they currently enjoy now.
Using Curve Abroad After Brexit
- Understandably we cannot predict how Brexit will impact the exchange rate between the British Pound and the Euro. Rest assured that whatever the outcome may be, Curve will try to continue to provide the best market rate available to ensure that customers continue to save money on FX fees when travelling.
